Tonight on Fabulous Fashion: ACS Makeovers & 31 Days of Pink!

****Special Edition: Celebrating Cancer Survivors in SL****

This week on a very special edition of Fabulous Fashion,  I will have the pleasure of talking to some people who are doing some fantastic things in SL for Cancer awareness.

First up we have The American Cancer Society Makeover program, an inworld program helping residents in Second Life with virtual makeovers.

“Makeover Magic” is the Second Life equivalent of a real life program,  “Look Good…Feel Better” – a free, community-based service in the USA that helps cancer survivors to restore their appearance and self-image during treatment.

Tonight please help me welcome Cinders Vale, Coordinator of the ACS Makeover Program as well as makeover participants Les Karsin and Dwen Dooley.  They will share their experiences as cancer survivors in SL, and we will have some special models on hand to show us their makeovers as well.

For a special Accessories Segment, we’ll have two bloggers who are also showing their support for Breast Cancer awareness.  Emery Milneaux and Sterling Jaxxon will be on hand to talk about the “31 days of Pink” Campaign, currently going on at the FashionCracked.com blog.  Sterling is a breast cancer survivor, and the two of them have joined forces with several bloggers at FashionCracked.com to bring some pink and stylish awareness to the grid.  Make sure you tune in, Emery and Sterling are bringing 5 models with them to show off some of the coolest pink themed outfits and accessories.

Lingerie for Valentine’s on Fabulous Fashion!

Skin Flicks with Mavis and Eyewear with Patty!

This week I sit down with the great Mavis McGettigan, designer and owner of Skin Flicks. This veteran clothing & skin designer does a little bit of everything, creating a wonderful line of clothing, shoes and skins. The Skin Flicks line can take you from casual to conservative, from fun to formal. Some of the best knits this winter can be found at her shop, and she is a master at prim sculpting. It will be a pleasure to interview her.

This week I am thrilled to sit down with the fabulous Kobe Flatley, the hip designer of MECHANISM.  The MECHANISM line is a really cool urban-casual blend with a dash of punk, and if you are looking for unisex apparel then this is the line for you.  Last year Kobe showed a great deal of talent with his first collection, and has earned himself a solid reputation as a designer who consistently creates great quality clothing.
