For our last show of 2009, I had the pleasure of interviewing Designer Squinternet Larnia of Donna Flora. This was the first time that I had an interpreter for a designer, Squinternet is Italian and the lovely Grazia Horwitz agreed to do double duty as both interpreter and Guest Stylist. It’s always interesting to meet designers the night of the taping, and although there was a language barrier between us, I could tell that Squinternet has a lively & humorous personality and is enjoying what she does in SL. Her creative inspiration comes largely from real life vintage designs as well as the women in her family like her aunt and grandmother. The fashion they wore during their adventures decades ago are now preserved virtually, and well, I think that’s just downright cool. Grazie Squinternet! Grazie Grazia!
