Who’s Looking in Evie’s Closet?
The fans of Fabulous Fashion are a varied lot, and each week seems to bring a selection of different people in addition to the regulars. Sometimes, we in the fashion industry can become a bit myopic and forget that people in other walks of life want to look good too. Whereas many events like fashion shows attract mostly industry insiders, Fabulous Fashion’s reach extends well beyond, as evidenced by the audience this night.

Arabella Steadham of Sand Castle Studios showed up tonight. It seemed like a good time to hear what she thinks of the show. “The guest this week is one of the best, as she has quite a unique style and does not design for either the ‘kmart’ shopper or the ‘high fashion’ shopper. She seems very open and non pretentious, which is a lovely breath of fresh air. I particularly like the idea of showing the designers early creations, as it gives us an idea of the journey she has traveled in her own development to get to where she is today.” She is an occasional attendant at the taping, “Normally I am work at this time of my day, it is 1.30pm here, but when I am available I do come along. I do watch them later on the website. I really enjoyed this show, quite a wide variety of things shown.”

Professional machinimator, moo Money is also a fan and likes to attend the tapings, “I try to catch them as often as I can, but you know Mondays. I’m not so much into ballgowns, but they’re gorgeous, the purple one is amazing. I prefer fabulous every day looks. I think the guest stylist segment is my fave. Fashion blogs only discover so many places. This really helps show off some of the lesser noticed places.”
Fabulous Fashion is a show that anyone who is interested in making an impression with their appearance can benefit from, as evidenced by the comments of its fans. Whether it’s learning about a the guest designer or picking up tips form the stylist, everyone is sure to learn something new by being a regular viewer. The reason that people some to the show seem to be as varied as the people themselves, and it results in having one of the best collections of fans in all of Second Life. Maybe we’ll see you at the next one.
